The Founder

Dr. Klaus Grimm has a PhD after his high school studies at the Ruhr University Bochum as a chemist at the Medical University of Lübeck.

Then Dr. Grimm worked as a department manager at different companies. In the TriPorTech GmbH Dr. Grimm served as an external scientific advisor.

In addition, he has taught in organic chemistry and analytical chemistry at the University of Applied Sciences Lübeck and Holzminden.

Dr. Christian Schell obtained after training as a materials tester (Chemistry ceramic) at the Lübeck (Villeroy & Boch) and a completed college degree for Technical Chemistry in Lübeck (Dipl.-Ing. (FH)), at the University of Hamburg a degree in Chemistry.

Following the promotion took place at the Medical University of Lübeck where he graduated in April 1999 with the degree Dr. rer. nat. "summa cum laude". Since his PhD, Dr. Schell dealt at length with the synthesis of porphyrins and their interdisciplinary applications.

Then Dr. Schell was employed as owner and manager of TriPorTech GmbH until the founding of Porphyrin-Laboratories, production, marketing and research of porphyrins.

Furthermore, the founder of the Porphyrin-Laboratories has been responsible for his doctorate at the University of Applied Sciences Lübeck as a freelance lecturer placements Analytical Chemistry and Instrumental Analysis and gave lectures in general-, inorganic- and analytical chemistry, as well as in Instrumental Analysis.
